Per our bishop's most recent communication (see attachment), all parish events at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church have been canceled
until Monday, April 6th.
Weekend and daily Masses, Confessions (individually and communal penance services), as well as the Stations of the Cross will continue unless otherwise notified.
Dispensation from Sunday Obligation:
Bishop Doherty's dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass is for the last three weekends of March (March 15, 22, and 29) as regularly scheduled public Masses will go on. As the situation evolves, we will keep you updated on this matter.
This is not a permanent dispensation.
The 5:00 pm Saturday evening Mass has been designated specifically for our elderly parishioners (60+) to protect them from unnecessary interaction with younger people.
If you are unable to attend Mass, Bishop Doherty will be celebrating 8:00 a.m. (Eastern) Mass at Church of the Blessed Sacrament for the next 3 Sundays (March 15, March 22, March 29) which will be livestreamed here:

People staying at home should still make the Lord’s day holy by prayerfully reading and discussing together the Scriptures for Mass and making a Spiritual Communion together.
Families should also strive to unite as family in charitable acts for those affected by the
Coronavirus and other family devotions such as the Rosary, novenas, Lectio Divina and refrain from any unnecessary work.
